This spot has become an absolute favorite of mine, and for very good reason – they consistently deliver a five-star experience every single time. Let's talk about the oysters – with a name like Lucky Oyster, you expect them to be good, and they are phenomenal! Whether you like them raw, steamed, or one of their specialty preparations, they are always incredibly fresh and delicious. But it doesn't stop there; their entire seafood menu is outstanding. Dinner at LO...service was fantastic, started off with "Daytona" style wings, really good, the drinks were cold, the Manager came around to say hello (Cheryl), she was super nice, finished off the meal with grilled tuna and a French dip...pro tip...get the potato wedges instead of friend fries. Will be back.

Highly recommend this restaurant! The food was phenomenal, and the service was equally impressive. Jill took great care of us. Neptune's Broil was cooked to perfection, as was the shrimp broil with veggies. Hush puppies were melt in your mouth good. Will definitely return when in this area again.

Lucky Oyster I’d seen this place before. To me, it looked to be what was just another restaurant on General Booth. I’d heard a few things about this place and I’d wanted to check it out. Of course in Virginia Beach, there are millions of beautiful people everywhere and in this restaurant. It was packed and it wasn’t even 4:30. Well, probably a lot of tourists. Didn’t have to wait too long for a Wednesday. I’d ordered up some oysters Rockefeller because I’ve had them in another place. Well, they weren’t quite as good. I don’t know if it’s because weren’t not that close to the water where we believe everything is fresh caught out of the ocean. I would hate to find out that there’s a guy shucking oysters out back for the illusion of ‘fresh’ when they’re really coming from Trader Joe’s or something. The calamari was all right. I had the flounder blt with the potato wedges. That was really good. My friend had a basket with sweet potato waffle fries. Those were pretty good too. I had to try the bread pudding which was really good. Great service and good food!

Best meal yet on our beach trip!! Great service! Excellent food! Must try the crab dip, seafood platter, shrimp tacos, mahi. Nice atmosphere!

I called a week before to make a large group reservation for me and my coworkers and the manager Cheryl was able to accommodate. We were seated at the huge round table in the back which definitely made for an enjoyable social event. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks and everything came out quickly. We tried almost everything across the menu and everything was amazing! No one had complaints. The server was so sweet and pleasant! Definitely recommend this place for fresh seafood, good drinks and great service! Thanks to Lucky Oyster for making our night out a special one!

Food delicious Had a good time, waitress is very friendly and sociable. Their new item Shrimp Scampi pizza was absolutely delicious.

The seafood is very fresh. Both the steamed ones and the fried ones. The fish with the sauce tastes good as well. We highly recommend them. We ordered steak burger, chicken burger, and pasta kids meal. My kids finished them quickly and loved them. The service is top notch, our waitress is very friendly and patient.
